Refugee Drop in Center - First Lutheran Church, 463 Maria Ave.

Each Thursday, from 2:00-4:30 Minnesota Council of Churches will be at First Lutheran Church, 463 Maria Ave. 55106.

They will be consulting on mental health cases or seeing clients to help evaluate needs and get them connected to services. There will also be doing activities including knitting, puzzles, art work. It is a place where people can just come to be social or get help.

Caseworkers from all agencies would be welcome to meet with clients here.

Following the drop -in time, there is a Wellness Center sponsored by the church, which includes free dinner, nurses available for blood pressure and health concerns, Yoga, Qi Gong, healing touch and other resources. Refugee clients are welcome there as well.
